Mandana has five years of experience advancing international economic development and cross-cultural exchange programs. At SIA, she works on research and analysis, program management, M&E and operations and has contributed to SIA's work in digital financial services, agricultural finance, gender and mobile money agent networks. She is passionate about the intersections of digital technology, access to financial services and sustainable and regenerative development.

Prior to joining SIA, Mandana was a monitoring and evaluation advisor at ACDI/VOCA’s DC headquarters and a research consultant at Accion’s Center for Financial Inclusion in Bangalore, India. Before her graduate studies, Mandana supported outreach programs and initiatives to expand opportunities for academic and cultural exchange through the Fulbright Scholar Program at U.S. higher education institutions that serve minority students, faculty and staff.

Mandana holds a BA in Political Science from Vassar College and a MA in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. During her masters, she focused on development economics and completed a certificate course in Digital Money with The Fletcher School and Digital Frontiers Institute.
